Whryta specializes in the conservation of Modern and Contemporary Art. We love to work on the seemingly impossible and objects that others believe to be un-exhibitable. Our process first involves consulting the artist and experts to understand the intentionality of the Artist and work. Next analysis and research of the object is carried out with advanced scientific analytical tools and cutting edge technology within the discipline of art conservation and outside when known methods do not exist. Once we have established a treatment approach exhaustive testing is carried out to validate our procedures before treatment of the object. The most advanced tools and technology are always used to carry of treatment.
Whryta collaborates and provides services for museums, foundations, artist studios and private collectors which including: examination and treatment of objects, condition reports and treatment proposals, collection surveys and maintenance, consultations and collaborations with artists, loan, storage, insurance, exhibition and environmental planning, collection surveys and maintenance Insurance assessments, courier services, installation documentation including: digital 3D models, laser scanning, architectural plans, elevations, exploded views, and assembly CAD drawings.
